Day 1: KILIMANJARO – SERENGETI (FLIGHT)
Depart from Kilimanjaro after an early breakfast by flight to Serenheti. Your game drive commences as soon as you land at the nearest airstrip to your lodge. Reach the lodge in time for lunch. Embark on an evening game drive after some relaxation. Dinner & overnight at Serengeti.

Day 2: SERENGETI
Today enjoy a morning (dawn to 0930am) and evening (0330-sunset) game drives. OPTIONAL HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI with Champagne breakfast. All meals at the lodge or alternate picnic breakfast or lunch (for a full day game drive). Overnight at Serengeti.

Day 3: SERENGETI
Today enjoy a morning (dawn to 0930am) and evening (0330-sunset) game drives. Perhaps a longer a full day (8am-4pm) game drive to explore Serengeti further towards the Masai Mara border, with a picnic lunch.

Day 4: SERENGETI-ZANZIBAR
After a morning game drive transfer to the local airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar (flight timings vary from 2-3 hrs depending on availability).

On arrival in Zanzibar transfer to your hotel in Stone Town. Today’s lunch & dinner on your own account. Stone Town offers a variety of nightlife options within walking distance.

Day 5: STONE TOWN, TURTLE ISLAND & THE BEACH
Check out after breakfast. Commence the walking tour of the historic Stone Town, walking past Freddy Mercury resident and many other monuments from years gone by. This tour will last approximately 2.5 hrs.

After a short lunch break at a local restaurant (on own account) take a boat to the Turtle Island, also known as Prison Island. The dark history of the island is fascinating indeed. Here you will get to see the large resident turtles and perhaps also get to feed them. The remains of the old prison can be witnessed too.

On returning to Stone Town transfer to your beach resort. Dinner & overnight at the resort.

Day 6 & 7: ZANZIBAR BEACH
For the next two days relax, rejuvenate and recharge at the beach resort. Optional tours to swim with dolphins, horse riding in the sea, the Safari Blu – a deep sea swimming experience with sandbank BBQ lunch, and many more experiences to enjoy.

Day 8: DEPARTURE
Check out after breakfast. Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your return flight home.
