INTRODUCTION:
This deluxe Zimbabwe safari escape to the Hwange National Park introduces you to a world where wildlife roams freely and your tented suite makes you feel at home in the bush. This trip spends three nights in Hwange National Park, western Zimbabwe. The park is home to over 100 mammal species, including the lion, leopard and rhino, and is well known for its large population of elephant.
The park is very accessible and your safari camp guides will take you on day and night game drives and walking safaris. The highest numbers of animals are spotted in the dry season (August to October) when the wildlife congregates around the water holes. The park offers excellent opportunities for photographers and bird watchers.

Day 1: Victoria Falls – Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
This morning you will be met in the town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe OR at Victoria Falls International Airport and then transferred to Hwange National Park by road (3 hrs) OR a 35 minute air transfer.
On arrival at your Camp, you will a delicious brunch and have the rest of the day to relax, until your game drive in the late afternoon which will be in a specialized 4 x 4 game viewing vehicle.
You will stop for sundowners in a remote bush spot and then continue with the second half of the drive, which is conducted after dark in search of nocturnal species.
You will return to camp at around 7:30pm in time for dinner. Dine indoors or have a seat al fresco under a sky of glittering stars. Dinner in the bush is romance in its simplest form.
Day 2: Hwange National Park
Hwange National Park, which borders Botswana, is Zimbabwe’s largest game park with an area of 14,600km², the size of Wales in the United Kingdom. The scenery, wildlife and vegetation vary hugely in the park. There is semi desert scrub in the south and forests, granite hills and mopane woodlands in the north.
This Zimbabwe national park is home to some of southern Africa’s last great elephant, buffalo and sable herds. The large number of waterholes attracts a huge variety of game, especially in the winter months when Hwange plays host to numerous animals as they come down to quench their thirst.
Guided game drives and walking safaris are the ideal game viewing activities, introducing safari-goers to the untainted bush and exciting wildlife encounters.
After your game viewing experience, return to the camp for a peaceful evening outdoors.
Day 3: Hwange National Park
Enjoy an early start to the day as you are served a warm cup of coffee. Prepare for your morning game viewing activity and once you’re walking shoes are laced up, you will set out into the wilderness alongside your trained and experienced guide.
Your dose of African culture will be found in the nearby village. A guided tour of the community, its school and it people will leave you with a better understanding of the region. After a day out in exploration of Zimbabwe’s great wildlife and culture, you will return to the camp for a scrumptious dinner and an evening around a blazing campfire, lullabied by the sounds of an active bush.
Day 4: Hwange National Park – Victoria Falls
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls airport for your onward journey. Optional return by air to Victoria Falls Airport.
