Zambezi-river-2

Zambia, tucked away and land locked by EIGHT countries amazes as a wildlife viewing destination.

The name is derived from the mighty ZAMBEZI RIVER, a defining feature of this country and shared by its neighbours. The flow of the Zambezi tumbles into the Victoria Falls and allows a huge density of varied wildlife and bird life to survive along its coast.

Kafue National Park

Kafue National Park

Kafue National Park is a vast wildlife reserve in Zambia and is the country’s oldest and largest national park, covering about 22,400 km² (8,650 sq mi). It was established in 1950 and is considered one of Africa’s most important wilderness areas.

Its centrepiece is the immense Etosha Pan, a shimmering white salt flat that is visible from space. During the dry season, animals gather around the waterholes located along the edges of the pan, creating exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities.
